Received the Sky Digi box this morning, plugged it in and it works great. I must be lucky because my dish was pointing the right way. ( I have a satellite finder ).Well thanks very much, and tell me what do I have to do if I want to keep the 2

Hi, Keith
Everything now sorted with satellite reception after visit by local French engineer. As
you suspected I was locked onto the wrong satellite signal and it took no more than 10
mins to sort. Wife now happy, so I'm happy.  Thanks for all your help and advice, wish
we had known about you from the start. I will post the LNB's back to you if you will let me
know how much I owe you for the postage to me, I will put a cheque in the box to cover it.

Hello

Just to say thank you for your help with installing out systems at home and at Le Ferre.  All is
working fine now, Gary has not moved out of the chair today - too much to watch and record!
We have the movie channel now and are looking forward to a cold winter so we in can stay in
and watch them!
Take care and try to catch up on some TV yourselves.

Hello,

I've just returned from France where I found you had returned my Sky card plus the cheque I sent - thank you very much for sorting it for me and not charging - doesn't happen very often!

I found that channels 4 & 5 worked immediately without having to leave the card in the machine for 24 hours -
you must have worked magic or put the fear of God in it!!

Hi keith

I just wanted to say thank you for your help and advice today, especially in light of the fact that there was nothing immediately 'in it' for you.  Although it's not great news, it's at least heartening to know that it's the box that's at fault and not the costly twin LNB install I paid for today.

Thanks for offering to test the box...I may send it down to you to see if you can fix it before going down the road of buying a new one..

Dear mayenne satellite,

This morning we had a thunder storm and the dish seemed to be affected (no picture and ‘dalek’ voices) – I figured this would go back to normal once the storm had passed. However it’s now a few hours later, the sun is shining but the TV is still not working (same symptoms – no picture and gargling voices). I’ve checked the SCART connection and tried taking the card out and wiping the chip. Neither thing worked. Do you have any suggestions as to what I might be able to do ?
